BOARD OF DIRECTORS

BENTON HALL ACADEMY SINCE 1977

MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Benton Hall Academy is discovered every day because of its excellent reputation for educating students with learning differences. Since 1977, parents have said, “Benton Hall Academy saved my child.” This school is uniquely equipped with a low student – teacher ratio and an environment in which students experience both social and academic success.

The purpose of the Benton Hall Board of Directors is to provide the leadership needed to ensure a sound future for the school. Board members volunteer their time, talents and treasures in an effort to provide excellent education for students that results in successful citizens for tomorrow.

The Board of Directors holds monthly meetings to review financials, to determine policy, to hear reports from the Headmaster on day to day operations, and to work on strategies that ensure the growth and stability of the school.

The Board of Directors is extremely proud of the commitment and dedication of teachers and staff, many of whom have been at Benton Hall Academy 15 to 20 years. Our teachers are specially trained professionals who employ a variety of strategies, some non-traditional, that are based on individual student assessment. Each child is challenged to succeed in his/her own way. Students with learning differences require quick assessment, patience, and understanding. Teachers and staff invest their lives to educate, nurture, and encourage these students to achieve their highest potential.

The Board of Directors is committed to our legacy of success with students that fail to thrive in traditional school environments. We are thankful for the support of parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends of Benton Hall Academy.

Benton Hall Academy is a special place, and if you have a child who could benefit from our environment, we welcome you to become part of the Benton Hall Academy family.
